‘Chamber Biz Alerts’ to provide vital business information

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce has launched ‘Chamber Biz Alerts,’ an SMS service to enable Sri Lanka’s business community to get updated with vital business information, which will help them to explore and grab business opportunities.

The latest move delivered through Dialog Mobile’s Idea-mart platform will enable the business community to get to know the vital business information of the chamber through their Dialog phone and take advantage of emerging business opportunities.

Accordingly, a subscriber to the ‘Chamber Biz Alert’ service will have access to business information such as, overseas business delegations visiting Sri Lanka and are facilitated by the chamber, B2B and business matchmaking sessions conducted by the chamber with local and overseas business enterprises, important business publications issued by the chamber, business events conducted or facilitated by the chamber and also opportunities to establish partnerships, joint ventures, export and import orders, etc.

A large number of Sri Lankan firms have found business opportunities such as export orders, formed Joint Venture partnerships and other forms of commercial partnerships, financing and technical support to expand their businesses by attending events which are conducted by the chamber.

Interested business executives or any other party can access the ‘Chamber Biz Alerts’ by typing REG<space>ccc and sending to 77000. The monthly charge for this service would be Rs. 60 + taxes and would be charged by the Dialog through its customer bills.
