The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce in its initiative to assist Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Northern Province is making arrangements to publish a Registry of Small and Medium Enterprises operating in the region.
The proposed registry, which is currently being compiled will be published during the month of June, 2017.
The main objective of the Chamber’s exercise is to assist SMEs to find potential business partners to further enhance their business activities. The ’Registry’ will also be a ready reckoner for input suppliers and service providers.
The Ceylon Chamber officials have already collected firsthand information of the SMEs operating in the Northern Province by visiting the region.
Once compiled, the Registry will be circulated among banks, lending agencies, foreign missions based in Sri Lanka and overseas, service providers and input suppliers. SMEs in the Northern Province who wish to list in the Registry, can do so by contacting the Ceylon Chamber via 115588854 or by emailing to [email protected].
