Ceylon Chamber takes a closer look at CBSL’s Monetary & Financial Sector Policies for 2014

It’s for the eighth consecutive year the Central Bank is presenting its Monetary and Financial Policies, in 2014. ‘The Central Bank Road Map: Monetary & Financial Sector Policies for 2014 and beyond’ will be unveiled tomorrow, 2 January, by Governor of the Central Bank Sri Lanka Ajith Nivard Cabraal. Subsequently, the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) in association with the Daily Financial Times will be organising a panel discussion on the Road Map for 2014, on 6 January 2014 at the CCC auditorium. The highlight of the discussion forum would be the presentation by the Governor of the Central Bank on the policies set for the New Year. The distinguished panel consists of the Governor of the Central Bank, NDB CEO Rajendra Theagarajah, Aitken Spence PLC Deputy Chairman and Managing Director Rajan Brito, Insurance Association of Sri Lanka President Prakash Schaffter and Central Bank of Sri Lanka former Assistant Governor Dr. Anila Dias Bandaranaike. The panel discussion will be chaired by Nisthar Cassim, Editor of the Daily Financial Times.
