Ceylon Chamber led biz delegation to visit China to explore new opportunities

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce is planning to lead a Sri Lankan business delegation to China to take part in the fourth China Import Expo Exhibition and the fourth World Business Leaders Conference, two of the highly attended global business events, which are scheduled to be held during the month of May.
The interested parties, who want to take part in the China Import Expo Exhibition, can do so as an exhibitor, delegate or a visitor to the Exhibition.
Participants also can take part in the World Business Leaders Conference, which is a gathering of prestigious entrepreneurs, senior government officials, senior management from chambers of commerce and renowned economists from across the globe.
China Import and Expo, jointly hosted by China’s Ministry of Commerce, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, will showcase overseas new technologies and products in fields such as high-end machinery and equipment, automated systems, new energy, environment protection and new materials.
During the visit, which is to take place during mid-May, Sri Lankan business delegates will also get the opportunity to hold B2B meetings with their counterparts, taking part in the exhibition and the business leaders’ forum.
Business representatives covering the sectors of tea/coffee, health products, confectionaries, food, beverages, ceramic products, consumer electronics, sports and leisure products, glass wear and pottery, table décor, drinking utensils and spices can join into be a part of this delegation.
