Ceylon Brewery to change name

Ceylon Brewery Plc is to change its name to Ceylon Beverage Holdings Plc.

An Extraordinary General Meeting of the shareholders is to be convened to get approval of the proposed change of name.

The Company also owns 50.4% stake in Lion Brewery (Ceylon) Plc, a joint venture with Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Berhard, which owns 24.6%.
