CEMS-Global USA, a multinational that launched its operations in Sri Lanka in 2009 as CEMS Lanka is set to organise three international exhibitions focused on textile and garment sectors of Sri Lanka starting 10 March. The three events are as follows: ‘Textech Sri Lanka 2016 International Expo,’ an international exhibition on textile garment technology and machinery, ‘Dye+Chem Sri Lanka 2016 Int’l Expo,’focusing on dyes and fine & specialty chemicals and ‘Colombo Int’l Yarn & Fabric Show 2016, from 10 to 12 March at the Sri Lanka Exhibition & Convention Centre (SLECC), Colombo.
CEMS-Global launched its international trade exhibitions for the trade and industry of Sri Lanka with a vision to further expand into the fast booming Sri Lankan industry sector and bringing in reputed international manufacturers and suppliers.
The Textech, Dye+Chem and Yarn & Fabric are CEMS-Global’s international series of exhibitions that are held using the same name in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Brazil and Indonesia with the Dye+Chem and Yarn & Fabric series being held in six countries in addition to the above countries - namely India and Singapore.
Since its inception in 1992, CEMS-Global has marked its presence as a multinational exhibition organiser in South and South-East Asia as well as South America with operations in seven countries. CEMS organises over 40 exhibitions per annum on all important sectors of trade and the economy. With its Global HQ in USA, CEMS carries out its activities from CEMS-Global USA based in New York, its own operated offices – CEMS Lanka, CEMS-Global Asia-Pacific Singapore, CEMS Bangladesh, CEMS Brazil, CEMS India, CEMS Indonesia along with 10 Associate Offices around the world.
The ‘24th Dye+Chem Sri Lanka 2016 Int’l Expo’ is targeted not only to the textile and apparel sector but also to the entire manufacturing sector of Sri Lanka.
The textile and apparel industry of South Asia enjoys a key position in the export sector. Keeping in mind the potential of this sector and to further boost exports, CEMS-Global has been organising the textech series of exhibitions around the world for 16 years and, this year, has brought it to Sri Lanka as there is a need for such exhibitions in the country. These exhibitions are expected to display the latest technology that Sri Lanka can adopt in the face of increased competition in the world market.
Exhibitors from over 10 countries will take part in these exhibitions, which are targeted to the entire business community, introducing international technology, machinery and material manufacturers to Sri Lankans, under one roof.
The Exhibitions will be open for Trade/Business visitors only 10 to 20 March the SLECC from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm upon registration at the Expo venue.
