‘Munchee’, the favourite biscuit brand of many Sri Lankans, recently announced the launch of the latest addition to their innovative portfolio ‘Munchee Crunchy’ a crispy creamy sandwich biscuit specially developed for kids.
Munchee Crunchy is the first biscuit manufactured in Sri Lanka that is targeted exclusively at kids. Prior to the introduction of this product, the company conducted extensive research to gain insights about the taste preferences of kids and teenagers when developing this product range. The Munchee Crunchy range comes in four distinctive flavours; Milk, Orange, Chocolate and Lemon. The flavours are unique and the texture of the biscuits is developed to provide a melt in the mouth feel.
Speaking about the introduction of this product, CBL Group General Manager Marketing Theja Peiris said, “We are very happy to introduce the newest taste experience to all Sri Lankan kids. Kids in other countries have access to exciting products which are specially made for them and we felt that our children have been deprived of such experiences. Our marketing and R&D teams developed this product giving attention to every aspect such as size, attractive packaging and flavours used that would make the product more suitable for kids.”
