CA Sri Lanka’s popular seminar series on IT GRC makes comeback

The popular seminar series on IT Governance Risk and Compliance (IT GRC) organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) will make a comeback this month. The seminars which will feature seven resource persons which will be held on 15 and 18 July 2014 at the Institute premises in Colombo 7, and is being jointly conducted with ISACA and ISC2 Sri Lanka Chapters. Participants will be educated on several key areas relating to IT GRC and ISO 27001, including on the globally accepted framework for information security management system, operationalisation compliance in a changing regulatory landscape, key challenges in implementing ISO 27001, ‘Death of the ERP?’, disruptive technologies, and compliance in challenging times. Resource persons at the seminar series will include Dr. Vickum Senanayake Group Chief Executive Officer of Just In Time (JIT) Group, Sujith Christy, Secretary of ISC2 Chennai Chapter/Board Member of ISC2 Colombo Chapter and Director of Layers 7, Chee Juee Low, Senior Solution Principal of EMC Global Services – Security & Risk Management Practice for EMC Southeast Asia, Buddhika De Alwis, Director Training of (ISC) 2 Sri Lanka Chapter and Manager of IT Advisory at KPMG  Sri Lanka, Conrad Dias, Group CIO of LOLC, Parakum Pathirana, Vice President of ISACA Sri Lanka Chapter and Principal Consultant at LOLC Technologies and Asokan Muthusamy, President of  ISACA Sri Lanka Chapter and Head of Internal Audit – HNB.
