The Brandix Group’s IT consultancy and services company, Brandix i3, has been certified compliant with ISO 9001:2008, just one year after the company commenced operations.
The certification by International Certification Services Pvt. Ltd. (ICS) of Mumbai covers the provision of consulting services in the fields of Infor ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and HCM (Human Capital Management), business process excellence, software development and related customer support.
A fully owned subsidiary of Brandix, Brandix i3 was launched in April 2012, to provide services for Infor applications, software development and business improvement. Brandix i3 has customers in the USA, Russia, Australia, South Asia and South East Asia. The company currently has a team of more than 140 extensively qualified, multi-skilled, experienced professionals, with experience across diverse industries including fashion, manufacturing and food and beverage, working in offices in Sri Lanka and the USA.
“Our principal objective in driving conformity with ISO 9001 was to streamline and optimise our internal processes,” Brandix i3 CEO Arjuna Sirinanda said. “It was also imperative that our processes were benchmarked to an international standard to ensure credibility with our customers.”
Based on eight quality management principles, ISO 9001:2008 is implemented by over one million companies and organisations in more than 170 countries and is the international standard relating to quality management systems.
As a Global Alliance Partner of Infor, Brandix i3 facilitates the sale of licenses of Infor products such as Infor M3, Infor HCM, Infor ION and PM10 and provides services related to these products. Many companies in the Brandix Group have already deployed Infor M3, a comprehensive multi-lingual, multi-company, multi-site ERP solution designed for companies in the fashion, food and beverage industries. Another dimension to the Brandix i3 offering is its business process excellence division that has conducted multiple business enhancing and cost saving projects for customers across various industries including the Brandix Group.
The team specialises in lean and six sigma practices, with 10 black belts and four master black belts. The company’s software development division is also currently developing software solutions for a fortune 500 healthcare customer in the United States.
