Minsk: Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has expressed hope to enhance all-round cooperation with Sri Lanka in a message to Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena.
President Lukashenko has sent a letter conveying his wishes to the Sri Lankan President on his birthday on 3 September, the Belarus President’s office said.
“I am convinced that under your leadership the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka will be vigorously developing for the benefit of every Sri Lankan family and in order to enhance the authority of the country in the international arena,” the message reads.
The head of state expressed hope that Belarus and Sri Lanka would continue advancing all-round cooperation relying on the principles of mutual respect and partnership.
