The National Chamber of Commerce will be conducting an International Symposium on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 July from 8.30 a.m to 5.30 p.m. along with the Ayurveda Expo 2015 at BMICH.
International speakers/academics from India, China, etc., will give presentations on traditional medicine and share their knowledge and experiences with Sri Lankan indigenous healthcare practitioners. This would be a great opportunity for Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and traditional medical practitioners and students for their professional development and improvement in their sphere.
The first 100 participants who get registered for the Symposium on Friday 3 July will be entitled to participate free of charge for the workshop on ‘An Indo-Sri Lankan Forum for exchange of views and sharing of experiences on the science and practice of Rasashatra’ on 3 July from 2-6 p.m. at the BMICH.
This forum is intended to share the knowledge and experiences of renowned scholars from India and Sri Lanka in the field of Rasashastra and its clinical practice. The audience would gain insights into different facets of this ancient and unique Ayurvedic science of pharmaceutics which extensively uses metals and minerals in combination with herbs.
Being part of this exclusive event would give access to the participants to the practical facts and practices of experts in this field. It would help them practice this potent system of medicine in a more assured manner to overcome clinical challenges for the ultimate goal of patient benefit and wellbeing.
