Innovation Institute of America CEO and President Alexander Blass will deliver the keynote presentation at the CIMA Business Leaders Summit themed ‘Future Defined’ on 16 and 17 June. The presentation, to be delivered on 16 June, is titled ‘Innovation Explosion: How to Imagine and Create Market-Dominating Products and Services’.
Alexander Blass is an internationally acclaimed American innovator. He holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from University of Pennsylvania. Alexander is the winner of the Daily Record’s Top Innovator of the Year Award, which credited him with ‘revolutionising charitable giving’ for inventing person to person ‘crowd’ fundraising technology ($ 5 billion/year industry).
Alexander was honoured as Entrepreneur – in Residence at the Wharton School of Business. He has received the Baltimore Business Journal’s Top under 40 Executives Award and the Daily Record’s Influential Marylanders Award. Alexander delivers keynote presentations and Master class training seminars on business innovation, leadership, and buzz marketing at top conferences and companies worldwide. Some of his extensive list of clients includes IBM, Mastercard, Saudi Aramco, Statoil, Toyota and KPMG.
Alexander has previously worked as a venture capitalist, strategy consultant and software developer, beginning his career at KPMG consulting. He has worked with leading organisations on opportunities totalling over $ 1 billion, and made investment recommendations on over $ 100 million of emerging technologies for the US government as an invited expert on many investment panels at the National Science Foundation.
