AB Securitas holds Service Awards 2015

AB Securitas Ltd., private security and secure transport service provider, hosted its Service Excellence Awards recently in recognition of the dedicated long service of its employees.

The ceremony was attended by Abans Group Deputy Chairman P.N. Pestonjee as the Chief Guest, other Directors of AB Securitas and the Senior Management of Abans Environmental Services and ABS Courier as special invitees.

Employees who have completed 10 years and above service with the company were awarded special appreciation service certificates and attractive rewards under the categories of 10, 15 and 20 years longstanding service. The 04-2function was organised by the Welfare Society of AB Securitas under the guidance of Assistant General Manager Chamara Waduge.

Employees were given the opportunity to express their feelings on the tenure with AB Securitas where the experiences were shared on how they contributed from the humble beginning of the company in 1994 to where it is today to become a leading private security and secure transport provider in the country.  

AB Securitas is a leading private security and loss prevention solutions provider in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh to a diverse customer base.  

The company commenced operations in 1994 and it is one of the  first Sri Lankan security companies to obtain ISO 9001 certification for quality management and only security company to possess BS OHSAS 18001 Certification for health and safety, which is a clear indication of its commitment towards the wellbeing of its employees and customers.

The company has been in operation for over two decades, leading the way in static security, cash in transit, cash management, ATM management and electronic security and has island-wide presence with fully fledged cash management centres in Colombo, Anuradhapura and Matara.

The company is an active founding member of the Sri Lanka Security Services Providers’ Association (SLASSPA) since 2004 and also an active member of the Industrial Security Foundation (ISF) of Sri Lanka since 2009.
