Women’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce (WCIC) inked the first international Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Lahore WCCI on 18 February at the BMICH.
The agreement aims to create robust business opportunities while increasing economic benefits for enterprises of all sizes for both countries. WCIC Chairperson Anoji De Silva and Lahore WCCI President Sahar Malik signed the MoU. Two Vice Chairpersons of WCIC Gayani de Alwis and Renuka Senanayake were also present along with the delegation from Lahore Chapter members. WCIC Chairperson Anoji de Silva said there are opportunities for both sides to collaborate for mutual benefit and we must make this partnership alive.
The delegation from Lahore was in Colombo recently attending the Pakistan trade fair.
WCIC is the premier organisation supporting entrepreneurs and professional businesswomen. The membership is open to women who believe they can contribute to society as well as benefit from the many facilities the organisation creates.
