Uva Highlands Estate sets all-time record price

Uva Highlands Estate situated in Bandarawela has established an All Time record price of Rs. 1,250 for a BOP1 grade in the Uva High category at last week’s tea auction held on 2 September.   This line of tea was purchased by Unilever Lipton Ceylon Ltd., the selling broker was John Keells PLC.  Uva Highlands Estate comes under the purview of Malwatte Valley Plantations PLC.
