SLASSCOM, Sri Lanka’s national chamber for the IT/BPM industry, is set to host their Quality Summit for the 6th year in succession, which is the biggest test automation conference of its kind to be held up to date in Sri Lanka. As the leading forum in the country to present and discuss the progress and recent evolutions in the fields of Quality Engineering, sharing the latest insights and applications on the industry, this year’s summit will be themed on the topic of “Unleash excellence in the new normal”.
The key aim of the event is to bring together leading industry professionals to exchange and share their experiences on all aspects of Quality Engineering and Management, and to provide a platform for experienced industry practitioners to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends and concerns, as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the field.
Showcasing a top level group of presenters who will guide the participants on enabling in contributing to “a better world of quality”, the event will cover key subject areas that include experience design, process excellence, performance testing, continuous testing, security testing, data science, agile, artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotic process automation, quality engineering in a hybrid workplace and Lean QE (eliminating waste).
The event will include keynote speeches, technical sessions and a number of social and networking opportunities to connect with industry-leading specialists and exchange views on effective software testing processes.
Giving an insight into what can be expected during the summit, SLASSCOM Quality Forum Advisory Board Member and former Quality Forum Head Tharindra Jayamaha said: “This year’s summit will focus on the latest advancements in the area of software quality assurance and testing and bring together top-level executives and technical experts to discuss the recent trends and practices that shape the landscape of software testing and quality assurance in various industries.

Quality Forum Head Dharshika Jayapala further explained that the summit will be hosted 100% virtually and is an ideal platform for quality engineers to meet the brightest minds in testing to learn, network, collaborate, and to learn proven ways to improve their testing methodologies from global innovators in agile, AI, communication, DevOps, management, test automation and much more.
Summit Event Chair Dhara Jayasinghe further added: “We are trying to make this year’s summit touch on multiple areas in QE and mostly topics that cover the latest tools and trends. We have carried out the summit multiple times for the past couple of years and have always captured the latest trends every year.”
