Two representatives from Russian oil companies have arrived in the country yesterday to discuss on supply of fuel to Sri Lanka.
The Daily FT learns that a group of Parliamentarians including National Freedom Front (NFF) Leader Wimal Weerawansa welcomed the representatives at the arrivals VIP lounge of the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake yesterday morning.
As there are no direct flights between Moscow and Colombo at present, the two representatives have arrived via a connecting flight from Bahrain.
