Thai Trade Centre Chennai and The Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, Thailand along with the Royal Thai Embassy Colombo will organise the business event ‘Top Thai Brands› trade fair and business matching during 6-8 March at the western car park, BMICH, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Following the success of Thailand Week in 2017 and 2018, Thai Trade Centre Chennai rebranded the Thailand Week trade fair and is set to introduce Sri Lanka to the ‘Top Thai Brands’ in 2020. This is a business opportunity for Sri Lankan business entities seeking new business ties, joint ventures and import-export collaboration with Thai counterparts, and to meet and discuss with manufacturers of leading branded products from Thailand. Over 35 leading Thai companies will showcase their products at this event.
Top Thai Brands 2020 will bring down a new variety of branded products directly from Thailand, including food and beverages, health and beauty products, household and office supplies, and many more. The featured brands are under each category.
Food and Beverages: Lactasoy, Koh-Kae peanut snack, Tong Garden, Yo-friend cookie, Andalus juice, Gogi flour, Fa-Thai sauces, J-Lek 863, Pele nuts, Crescent;
Health and Beauty: Takabb anti-cough pills, Rasyan, Lolain haircare, Pop Popular, Ido fragrance, Go Hair, Royal Kinnaree, Siam Tropicana;
Household and Office Supplies: Parazzo PVC doors, Solex locks, Aconatic master cool, Horse stationery, Pure Water purifier, JKlass, SUPP cleaning, Mazuma Water purifier, Sri Thai superware;
To facilitate the opportunity, the Thai Trade Centre has come up with an exclusive B2B session on 6 March from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the venue. Having the B2B session right at the trade fair gives trade visitors a great opportunity to meet with the Thai companies and see the samples of product right in one place. The trade fair will be open to the public in the afternoons, till 7 p.m.
The Top Thai Brands event will not only focus on trade and business but also on tourism, culture and food. All visitors can experience and enjoy many aspects of Thai culture, such as a muay thai performance, Thai food cooking demonstration, and Thai massage. Visitors can also stand a chance to be the lucky winner of a round-trip to Thailand and back from Thai Airways International.
The hours of operation for the fair’s major activities are as follows:
-Opening ceremony: Friday, 6 March, 9.30-10.30 a.m., followed by trade day (B2B session) 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
-Public days: 6 March, 1-7 p.m., and 7-8 March, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
