Celebrity corporate leader Dr. Kishu Gomes was conferred with another national leadership award at a recently held award ceremony at the Taj Samudra Hotel, Colombo for his continuous contribution to the country’s economic and social development via multiple areas especially focusing on the young workforce of Sri Lanka.
The award was presented to him by State Minister of Education Reforms Susil Premjayanth.
Kishu, the youngest Sri Lankan to head a truly multinational company and the longest serving multinational CEO, is now heading the Dreamron Group of Companies as its Group Managing Director/ CEO, adding tremendous value to the country thru exports and local economic value creation.
He held a public sector role as Chairman of Sri Lanka Tourism and successfully handled the recovery of the tourism industry following the Easter attack.
Kishu has previously won many prestigious awards such as, Best Young Director by the institute of Directors, Best Business leader by CIMA Sri Lanka, TOYP award for leadership and Srilankan of the year by the Lions Club
