The 10th Edition of the Maldives Living Expo was held in Dharubaaruge, Male City., Maldives from 15 to 17 December.
The Expo was organised by the local event management company Highrise and offered a platform for real estate companies to showcase their offerings.
This year’s fair featured 35 real estate enterprises including four companies from Sri Lanka namely Prime Group which was the Co-Sponsor, Alumex by Hayleys, Capital Twin Peaks by Sanken and Lincoln House.
The participation of Sri Lankan companies in this Expo is seen as a key promotion of the brand Sri Lanka in international markets and will act as a key source of forex entering into the country.
Tata Housing LuxaOne was the Main Sponsor and the other Co-Sponsor was Mohan Mutha Exports from India. Other prominent exhibitors included Ooredoo, Proxy Home, Sandal Mauritius, Housing Development Corporation, the Housing Ministry and Maldives Gas.
The event was graced by the Maldives President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and the Economic Minister Fayyaz Ismail inaugurated the event with the Highrise Founder Ismail Hameed and the Highrise team along with Sri Lanka representative and consultant Thasim Rafi.
Highrise has been organising the Living Expo since 2013 and has been organising several other successful Expos including the Food and Beverage Expo and the Maldives Marine Expo.
