The second session of the upcoming Sri Lanka Retailers Forum 2021, ‘Driving your talent strategy’ will focus on the crucial element of talent management and how retail can be positioned as an attractive employment sector.
The session will discuss how organisations can manage attrition in the sector and how the industry should be looking at upskilling, including digital and harnessing leadership. It will further explore ways of improving inclusion and diversity in the sector.
The expert presenters lined up to reveal these insights during session two are Aon Consulting Ltd. Human Capital Solutions Industry Lead Mathangi Jayaraman and MAS Holdings Group Human Resources Director Organisational Development Deirdre Rodrigo Candappa.
They will be joined by panellists PIM former Chairman and Director Prof. Ajantha Dharmasiri and Director Human Resources and Business Integration Roshan Kulasuriya. The session will be moderated by Virtusa Vice President - HR Chandi Dharmaratne. The diverse and multi-sector perspective from human resource experts in this session will make this an insightful session for retailers.
The Sri Lanka Retailers Association (Guarantee) Ltd. (SLRA) will host the premier retail sector forum for the fourth year. This year’s Sri Lanka Retail Forum, themed ‘Recharging Retail: Resilience to Results’, is scheduled for 13 October. SLRA is the sole industry body for this sector, representing 47 leading and national level retail firms, with countrywide reach across various product segments.
