STI Holdings facilitates trading ties between Sri Lanka and Jiaozhou

Sri Lanka’s own STI Holdings (St. Theresa Industries Holdings) joined several government and corporate entities to facilitate an important trade visit from Mayor of Peoples Government of Jiaozhou Bi Weizhun and his delegation recently. The visit culminated successfully following several trade developments between Sri Lanka and Jiaozhz including signing of MoUs. 

During the course of the visit, Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and Bureau of Commerce, Jiaozhou signed a MoU to promote and facilitate trading and business opportunities to enhance bilateral trade between Sri Lanka and Jiaozhz. The delegation also discussed further matters including plans to set up an economic and trade representative office at the Shenghe International Trade Centre with the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. 

The delegation from Jiaozhz met Minister for Transportation, Energy and Power Mahinda Amaraweera during the visit. The delegation also visited the Sri Lanka Port and met Director Logistics Upul Jayatissa, at the Port Authority.
