Billed as the ‘biggest automation testing conference’ in the country, the Colombo Test Automation Conference (CTAC) spearheaded by the Sri Lanka Association of Software and Services Companies (SLASSCOM) Quality Forum will take place for the fourth consecutive year on Wednesday.
This year CTAC 2020 will go virtual with the aim of accommodating participants from the local and international markets and will foster discussions on the topic from a global market perspective.
Having brought together some of the leading professionals in the software industry in the past years, CTAC has turned out to be one of the most talked about and much awaited events by the tech industry.
This year’s event will once again bring together experienced and seasoned practitioners in the tech, BPM and software industry as well as academia. These expert practitioners will discuss trending topics that will be applicable in supporting industries adopt best practices in Test Automation in the pandemic era and beyond.
The line-up of speakers include industry experts from successful tech companies that comprise of Auxenta Digital Labs Ltd. Director Client Services Niroshan Landez, 99X Senior Software Product Engineer Suren Rodrigo, Sysco Labs Senior Lead – Quality Engineering Maduka Perera, Cambio Software Engineering Head of Quality Assurance Ranil Weerasinghe, Cambio Software Engineering Associate Tech Lead Tharindu Peiris and Quality Assurance Lead – Zone 24/7 Menaka De Silva.
Targeted at technology leaders, QA professionals, quality engineers, developers and agile practitioners, software testers and product leaders, the event will give participants an opportunity to learn new skills and hear expert industry perspectives.
Speaking of the conference, SLASSCOM Vice Chairperson Sandra De Zoysa, who conceptualised and initiated the quality forum over a decade ago, said: “Given the current pandemic that has led to remote working will result in accelerating digital transformation, bringing even more drastic shifts in how we do software delivery.
