In an increasingly competitive globalised market, it is vital for agri-businesses to digitalise to improve the efficiency, consistency, and quality of its processes. This also allows agri-businesses to tap into wider markets both locally and in foreign markets.
As adopting technology becomes increasingly important in agribusinesses, Sri Lanka Agripreneurs’ Forum (SLAF), the premier forum for agribusiness in Sri Lanka, in partnership with Hatton National Bank (HNB) will host an informative webinar on ‘Digitize your agribusiness for higher growth’ on 13 January.
The webinar will consist of a presentation by Agrithmics CEO Prashanth Premkumar on adoption of cloud based systems, mobile apps, and tech-based solutions; a presentation by Spectrify AI Co-Founder Jeevan Gnanam on utilising AI and spectral analysis to improve quality control in value chains; and a session on digital product and service marketplaces by Daraz Head of Marketplace Saed Meera. This will be followed by a session on obtaining access to finance by HNB Head of Refinance Schemes and Special Lending Products Bandara Rekogama.
To explore the issues of the audience, the webinar will consist of a panel discussion and Q&A session at the end which will be moderated by SLAF CEO Ruwin Mapa.
The webinar will be conducted from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on 13 January via Zoom. Participation is free and all interested parties are invited to send your name and organisation via WhatsApp to 076-760-3376 or email to [email protected].
