Celebrating 25 years in recognising and rewarding the excellence of Sri Lankan Exporters, the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE) has achieved national significance over the years due to high standards and professionalism it maintains across all its projects. This year’s awards saw the most number of applicants vying for these prestigious awards.
In addition to ascertaining winners based on general export criteria, areas such as contemporary requirements to compete in the global arena, government economic and export policies, innovation, differentiation, branding, value addition and long-term sustainability was also considered.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe was the chief guest at the award ceremony, Minister of Primary Industries Daya Gamage, Minister for Provincial Councils and Local Government Faiszer Musthapha and Deputy Minister of Policy Planning and Economic Development Dr. Harsha de Silva were present as special guests.
