Ritzbury, Sri Lanka’s number one chocolate brand manufactured by CBL Food International Ltd., received the highest possible quality accolade winning the prestigious National Quality Award 2018 in Large Scale Manufacturing category recently.
Organised by the Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI), this premier national recognition showcases local entities that excel in quality management and quality achievement.
The selection criteria were based on the Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award of USA. The Sri Lanka National Quality Award is Sri Lanka’s highest level of recognition for excellence in Business Management, elevating the awardees to the level of ‘World Class’ Companies.
The annual Quality Award program evaluates organisations based on several criteria such as Leadership, Strategic Planning, Customer Focus, Measurement, Analysis and Knowledge Management, Workforce Focus, Processes Management and Results.
Ritzbury with a proud 70% market share in chocolates, is the only brand that is SLS certified, in addition to other international certifications such as the ISO 22000 food safety management system, ISO 9001 quality management system and the ISO 14001 environmental management system.
