The Government has decided to defer the reopening of cinemas from 27 June to 2 July.
The Co-Cabinet Spokesperson Bandula Gunawardana stated that cinemas will be permitted to resume operations on 2 July at a maximum 50% capacity.
However, he added that discussions will be held today on increasing the maximum capacity allowed in a cinema.
