Petform wins NCE Export Award

Petform Ltd., the giant of the plastic and paper based packaging industry, bagged a Bronze award at the National Export Awards ceremony – 2019 organised by the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE). The prestigious award came from Plastic and Plastic Products Sector, National Level. 

Petform Ltd. Managing Director Perinpam Mathitharan received the Bronze Award at the gala event held recently at Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo. 

Petform, specialised in manufacturing PET bottles and lids and paper-based cups and plates, has four plants in Delgoda and Malwana with over 200 workforce. The company exports its products to UK, Saudi Arabia and the Maldives. 

Petform is known for high quality products and accredited with quality certifications ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 18001:2007 and SLS 1336.  

Mathitharan expressed his gratitude to all employees who dedicated tirelessly for this achievement and the company’s stakeholders without whom the journey towards success would not have been possible. 

According to company’s vision to be a world class innovative packaging solution provider and manufacturer for rising needs and existence of people, Petform is generating and adding 500 Kwh electricity to the national grid by installing solar power generating system within the factory while catering to wide range of products including water, food and beverage, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and agro chemicals with innovative, eco-friendly solutions to maximise customer satisfaction. 

Petform is continuously investing in new technologies and researching on new raw materials that will help to reduce the company’s carbon foot print. While the company produce only fully recyclable products, based on green manufacturing philosophy it hopes to go a step further to use raw materials decomposed by the nature itself.
