COVID has caused an economic crisis like no other in Sri Lanka’s post-independence history. With no definite end in sight, the pandemic has touched upon every aspect of the economy and life in Sri Lanka. The Government has scrambled to put in place policies to mitigate what might be a debt crisis induced recession. Sri Lankans are asking, what exactly is happening in the economy? Is the Government responding effectively? What is the agenda to support economic recovery once COVID is manageable? All this will be fenced in this Pathfinder webinar.
