The South Asian Business Excellence Awards (SAPSAA) held at the prestigious Monarch Imperial gave way to recognising and acknowledging business excellence and the results gained by the trailblazers of the corporate domain, in the face of an ever-increasing competitive market. The awards acknowledged the many challenges faced by industry leaders and the tremendous adversity faced in the South Asian region, and celebrated those entities, teams and individuals who have shown resilience and ingenuity and achieved turnaround results during the pandemic. SAPSAA 2021 celebrated notable achievements by businesses in the COVID era, and those who have coped with unprecedented change and growth.
Judges engaged in the process of evaluation consisted of a select group of professionals who have direct experience in relevant industry with an in-depth understanding of the current state-of-the-art standards in the company’s development and technology. Awards were presented to a wide range of businesses in Banking, Exports, FMCG, Apparel, Food Agro, Healthcare, HR, Real Estate, and ICT to name but a few. The regional competition was especially encouraging with a level playing field among South Asian nations including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Napal and Maldives.
Among the winner’s, Packaging Alliance was named the ‘Best Manufacturing Company in Packaging Materials’. The award was received by Founder and Managing Director Stefan Tranchell. Packaging Alliances specialises in growbags, the most effective multipurpose growing medium available on the market today for crop growth. With a vast range of options in terms of drainage, porosity and water retention, the company creates a range of growbags to suit a wide variety of crop yield requirements.
