The Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) as the nation’s management mentor is engaging with the Lanka Hospitals Corporation PLC (LHC), in conducting a tailored program on executive development. The program commenced recently with the participation of 27 managers, representing different functional specialties.
Managers in every organisation have the opportunity to make a difference through efficient and effective discharge of their duties. It thus becomes obvious that every organisation needs competent managers, as one of their key roles is managing employee-engagement and performance.
Focusing on these objectives, and more specifically to enhance and improve the overall performance of the organisation the LHC liaised with the PIM, to further develop its managerial cadres. Backed by the acumen and knowledge gathered thus the PIM was confident in designing a tailored Executive Development Program (EDP) to suit the specific requirements of the LHC, as its ultimate objective is to provide a rich learning experience and enhance the managerial and strategic level competencies needed by the organisation in the long-run.
