The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will organise its annual Outlook Seminar for 2019 under the theme of ‘Building Resilience Amidst Uncertainty’. The seminar serves as an important opportunity to understand both the outlook for the economy and key sectors in 2019.
Central Bank Governor Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy will deliver the keynote address. It will then be followed by a panel discussion with Institute of Policy Studies Executive Director Dr. Dushni Weerakoon, KPMG Sri Lanka Managing Partner and Middle East South Asia Region Chairman Reyaz Mihular and Strategic Development of Hayleys PLC Head Manohari Abeysekera sharing their perspectives on the theme and outlook for 2019. The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Chief Economist Shiran Fernando will be the key presenter and will also moderate the panel discussion.
The seminar will also see the launch of the flagship publication, ‘Economy + Sector Review & Outlook 2019’ by the Economic Intelligence Unit of The Ceylon Chamber. Seminar participants have the opportunity to reserve a digital copy of this publication at a discounted price.
