Leading design house Optima Designs took credit for the design and production of 16 winning annual reports at the recently concluded 54th Annual Report Awards of the Sri Lanka Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA).
Many of the prize-worthy companies have been Optima clients since the inception of the company at the end of 2013, winning awards annually.
In the Gold category Optima’s winning clients were Talawakelle Tea Estates PLC, LankaClear Ltd., Hayleys Advantis Ltd., and Alumex PLC. Silver awards went to Abans PLC, Kelani Valley Plantations PLC, Sarvodaya Development Finance Ltd. and The Lanka Hospitals Corporation PLC. JAT Holdings Ltd. and People’s Insurance PLC took home Bronze awards.
Meanwhile several Optima clients walked away with Compliance awards. Some of them were Ambeon Holdings PLC, Credit Information Bureau of Sri Lanka, Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC, Horana Plantations PLC, Richard Pieris and Company PLC, and Union Bank of Colombo PLC.

The theme of the 2018 competition was ‘Epitome of Brilliance’. The Chartered Accountants’ mission is to ‘improve transparency and accountability in financial reporting, while also enhancing Sri Lanka’s reporting standards in line with best global practices’.
