New Director General of the National Budget Department Jude Nilukshan assuming duties at the Finance Ministry yesterday

The Finance Ministry yesterday said Jude Nilukshan has been appointed as the new Director General of the National Budget Department.

Nilukshan, who is a Grade One Sri Lanka Administrative Service Officer, was previously a Senior Assistant Secretary at the Cabinet Secretariat, according to the statement.

He has previously worked as an Assistant Director, a Director at the National Budget Department, and a Director at the Customs Department. Nilukshan possesses a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura and a Master’s in International Trade and Economic Cooperation from the Kyung Hee University in South Korea.
