Lankapak 2019 held its media launch at Hotel Galadari Bougainvillea Ballroom, in readiness to address the Packaging, Processing, Printing and Plastic industries to be held from 11 to 13 September at the BMICH. The 21st edition of Lankapak is organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Packaging (SLIP) and its ‘technical arm’, the Packaging Development Centre, supported by Sri Lanka’s premier exhibition organiser, CDC Events and endorsed by the Ministry of Commerce, together with Indian partner Futurex.
The Chief Guest at the launch was Industry and Commerce, Resettlement of Protracted Displaced Persons and Cooperative Development Minister Rishad Bathiudeen.
The exhibition will be preceded by an International congress on Packaging, Processing, Printing and Plastic on 12 September where international speakers and professionals in the industry will speak on the latest trends and overcoming current challenges faced by the industry.
SLIP, established in 1975, is recognised as one of the oldest packaging industry associations in South and South East Asia, having a proven track record of over four decades in promoting and advancing the printing and packaging industry.
CDC Events, a Member of the Connaissance de Ceylan Group, is recognised as one of the largest and most experienced professional exhibition organisers in the country with a wide and diverse portfolio of exhibitions under its belt. It would include printing services, packaging services, plastic services, digital printing and 3d printing, food and beverage packaging solutions, printing consumables and packaging materials.
