Lalinda new CEO at Kelsey Developments

Kelsey Developments PLC has announced the appointment of Lalinda Kalubowila as the new Chief Executive Officer.

Kelsey’s previous CEO Shivanka De Zoysa resigned in November 2018 after being appointed to the post in March same year.

Kalubowila is a management professional with over 12 years of expertise in leadership and management within the context of strategic planning, operations, establishing new businesses, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and driving sales.

He started his career as an Environmental Engineer at China Harbour Engineering Company in 2006. He joined Walkers CML Group in 2008, where he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Walkers CML Properties and Vice President of MTD Walkers PLC.

During his career at Walkers CML Group, he established the real estate division, Walkers CML Properties Ltd., in the affordable housing segment, with an annual revenue of Rs. 2 billion within a short span of3 years while managing a portfolio of 9 projects, which contained approximately 2,500 apartments.

He holds a Certificate in Information Technology, School of Computing of the University of Colombo; a BSc (Hons.) in Engineering, University of Moratuwa and a Master of Business Administration, Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
