Hyundai Motor India recently made a momentous announcement that it had crossed the milestone of 100,000 sales of Hyundai Venue, since its launch in the country a year ago. Unveiled in May 2019, the Venue has managed to beat out rivals in the automobile market and garner solid figures in sales, despite facing numerous obstacles over the months.
Hyundai released a press statement that spoke of the Venue’s immense success in the Indian market, which was measured by the fact that it was the highest selling four-meter SUV in the country, between the months of January and May 2020. The Venue is a popular choice for customers both in India and all across the globe – with overseas sales exceeding 7,000 customers.
It is no surprise that the Venue has earned high praise from its peers and been graced with many prestigious laurels at an international level. The Indian Car of the Year 2020, the Viewer’s Choice Car of the Year at the third edition of the News18 Tech and Auto Awards 2019 in the category of the Luxury Car of the Year were some of the prominent awards that the Venue were bestowed. Beating out stiff competition from other well-known car brands, Hyundai Venue was voted as the deserving winner for both accolades due to impactful design and economical prices along with a range of superior technological advancements.
As stated by Hyundai Motor India MD and CEO S.S. Kim, the success of the Venue can be attributed to the all-round capabilities of the SUV, which include the feature packed cabin, along with multiple engine options such as the Kappa 1.0L T-GDi Petrol and 1.5L U2 CRDi Diesel BS6.
In addition, the pioneering ‘Fully Connected’ technology has been made available for customers, with global technologies such as Kappa 1.0L T-GDi and 7-Speed DCT for Hyundai cars offering more enhanced value and excitement on every ride. Another noteworthy factor is the Venue securing four stars in the ANCAP safety ratings, which has further propelled its presence in the SUV market.
Currently, the Hyundai Venue is powered by three engine options, and available in four variants of E, S, SX and SX (O). Features a dark chrome front grille, cube-shaped projector headlamps with LED DRLs and tail lamps, as well as a standout design that is composed of 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, shark fin antenna and silver skid plates that give it a sporty look.
This extremely spacious model comes with a choice of three interior colour themes, and also features safety functions such as dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX, a seatbelt reminder, rear parking sensors, speed sensing auto door lock and crash sensing auto door unlock to ensure that every journey in a Hyundai Venue is convenient, exciting and safe.
