Hidellana Tea Factory establishes new all-time record price for BP grade

Hidellana Tea Factory, renowned for all-time record price for “Hidellana” selling mark, established a new all-time record price for a BP grade at this week’s tea auctions held on 15/16 November 2022. 

This BP grade recorded a price of Rs. 2,400 and this tea was purchased by Commercial Export Company, a leading tea exporter in Sri Lanka.

Hidellana Tea Factory, owned by RTS Holdings Ltd. Chairman Lalith Liyanage, produces the finest quality Low-grown orthodox teas and has won many awards both internationally and locally for producing select best teas in Sri Lanka. 

This remarkable achievement was made possible by the young and energetic team at the respective tea factory endeavouring to achieve new heights through effectively collaborating with the leadership of Lalith Liyanage.

This record breaking line of tea was successfully marketed and sold by Mercantile Produce Brokers Ltd.
