Hayleys Leisure PLC has sold 5.2 million shares amounting to a 0.47% stake in Royal Ceramics PLC (RCL) on Monday. It sold at Rs. 47.40 each.
The biggest block of 4.7 million shares was sold on 8 October and the balance on Monday. The latter was among 3.8 million of RCL shares traded for Rs. 185 million.
Vallibel One PLC holds 56% stake in RCL. All entities come under the overall control of business leader Dhammika Perera.
RCL, which has been on the up of late, saw its share price gain by 40 cents, or 0.8%, to close at Rs. 48 on Monday. Yesterday, it dipped by 10 cents to Rs. 47.90 with 1.56 million shares changing hands via 484 trades for Rs. 75 million.
Last week, RCL saw 21.6 million of its shares change hands via 3,806 trades for Rs. 1 billion, with the price gaining by Rs. 2.
