Five Sri Lankan companies to participate at Ambiente 2020

Five Sri Lankan companies will participate at the world’s largest consumer goods show, Ambiente in Frankfurt, Germany next month.

Ambiente 2020 is offering a unique spectrum of products for the table, kitchen and housewares, gifts and decorative articles and interior design concepts and furnishing accessories.

The five companies include; Dankotuwa Porcelain, AMP Ceylon, Art Decoration, Gospel House Handicrafts and Selyn Exporters. It was noted that Dankotuwa Porcelain has been participating at Ambiente for over 30 years and a number of industries have developed from this fair such as ceramic and handicrafts. 

Ambiente is organised by Messe Frankfurt, the world’s largest trade fair, congress and event organiser with its own exhibition grounds.  This year the expo is welcoming more visitors from all growth regions of the world. The top 10 visitor nations at Ambiente 2019 after Germany were China, France, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, South Korea, the Netherlands, Turkey, and the USA

Ambiente has over 4,460 exhibitors, while 136,081 buyers from around 167 countries attended the fair in 2019.

Ceramic companies such as Dank-otuwa Porcelain will be in hall 6.1 (Dining), while the other companies will in hall 9.2 and 9.3 (Giving and Living Global Sourcing) exhibiting their products.

The next Ambiente will be held in Frankfurt, Germany 2021. Ambiente will also be held in India in March 2020.
