FITIS ICT Infrastructure Chapter President Gnanam Sellathurrai said: “This program was designed focusing on infrastructure/computer hardware channels partners two years ago, but due to pandemic lockdowns it couldn’t be executed. This is an industry requirement at this post-pandemic period as many companies faces severe challenges due to the economic downturn in Sri Lanka. Further he stated he wanted industry partners to gear up for the next level of ICT infrastructure business not only in Sri Lanka but to other countries as well. For such an expansion industry partners need many guidelines and support from industry bodies like FITIS. This type of conference will provide insights in developing successful business models for a longer period. This conference has high expectations within the member companies. So many industry players are supporting this event to be a successful event for a better Sri Lanka.
FITIS Chairman Dr. Prasad Samarasinghe said: “It is a timely requirement for this type of capacity building conference for industry partners. At FITIS we always work in capacity building initiatives as the country needs skilled people in many areas in technology. We work with many industry partners in fulfilling the vast requirements of the IT industry. To have a strong technological backbone infrastructure business is very important and their services are very important to keep alive the technological connectivity.”
