CH17 rolled out its digital card, the first in the retail loyalty space, which is expected to change the landscape of ‘loyalty management’ within the retail sector.
Deedat – a popular clothing brand by NOLIMIT and Glitz – will be the first to embrace this new format and it has taken this bold new step in the greater interest of its loyal customers, said CH17 Loyalty CEO Jumar Preena.
“In the post-pandemic scenario, everything is changing in retail business and it is changing fast. The vendors and the customers will have to adopt themselves to meet these new normal challenges. Time spent whilst shopping has to be reduced as much as possible. The public is advised to take precautionary measures such as to avoid physical contact of any form, like handling plastic bank cards, even loyalty or reward cards, and also transactions. We will not be able to completely eliminate these at once, but we could minimise physical contact as far as possible,” he pointed out.
“CH17’s digital platform has been developed with simplified enrolment with no weighty downloads required thanks to our platform provider SmartIdeas. A link to the web browser shows a two-step process, the first being for a one-off registration whilst the other is to log in. A dynamic and personalised image of the Loyalty Card will pop up during each log in and this image will be flushed after a few seconds, thus ensuring security and safety of the card. Very soon we will come up with digital solutions for customers who have multiple plastic cards in their purse. On an average a customer will have at least two bank cards (credit/debit) and a pack of Loyalty cards, thus making their wallet bulky. These will be a thing of the past,” Jumar added.
