The Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka (CPM Sri Lanka) strives to promote the best practices in business management.
This initiative is aimed at sharing the proven Best Practices in demonstrating the features of back-to-business resilience in the COVID-19 transition with the Sri Lankan business community and to add value to Sri Lankan business organisations.
Following the success of our inaugural awards scheme for Best Management Practices, the CPM Sri Lanka Institute have now decided to continue this program this year too.
The “Best Management Practices Company Awards 2023” is organised by the Institute recognising Sri Lankan public and private sector companies/institutions for their organisational growth and success.
The awards endorse the best practices in the Management of Companies during 2022 while recognising their leadership, policies and strategies, people management, partnerships and resources, processes, and performances.
The awards provide a distinct framework for management teams to revisit and challenge themselves against their respective companies/institutions. The awards will give confidence to winning companies/institutions to proudly make a professional appearance in business society and across the world.
The competition will recognise three overall winners Gold, Silver, and Bronze and merit winners who will qualify to showcase their presentations at the CPM International Management Conference 2023 on 16 March 2023. In addition to that, the companies will be recognised under the category of winners, and will receive special recognition awards of Best Management Practices Company Awards 2023.
Our 2023 awarding ceremony will be held on 16 March 2023 in Colombo.
The day’s program will begin with our annual management conference on the theme ‘Rebooting Management; Reimagine and Redesign’ where we deliberate on how management thinking and practices have to be restructured and reinvented for post COVID business.
The award scheme will attempt to identify the best managed companies through an exhaustive template which will attempt to give us a true and fair view of the company. What we will look for is how your company implements best practices on a day-to-day basis in every department you are engaged in.
Following the evaluation of your synopsis, we will invite you to make an illustrated oral presentation prior to selecting the companies with the best management practices.
We encourage you to apply because even if a company does not win the final award, it will have the experience of engaging in the best management practices.
This will enable employees to be aware of and emulate good practices at all times.
The closing date for applications will be 10 February 2023.
