The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce is well-aware of the challenges faced by corporates post-COVID-19 in management of employees due to the new developments that have taken place in response to mitigate the COVID-19 spread.
However, the CCC has identified that most of the corporates are having doubts on the simultaneous new developments in the employment laws. Accordingly, as a responsible Chamber it has decided to create awareness amongst the corporates on employment law related challenges faced by corporates post COVID-19 and have a discussion whether the necessary developments have taken place in the context of Sri Lankan employment laws to address such challenges.
The Chamber Academy of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce has taken the initiative to share expertise thoughts on this topic. The resource person is Employees’ Federation of Ceylon Senior Assistant Director General Prasad de Silva.
This knowledge sharing session is a sponsored event by Hutch and London Stock Exchange Group.
The webinar will take place on 9 November from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. via MS Teams. For registrations visit events.chamber.lk.
