Steve Swientozielskyj, the 85th Global President of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), during his recent visit to Sri Lanka visited HNB Headquarters and met with the CIMA members and discussed the opportunities and risks for the accountancy profession from the digital disruption and rapidly-evolving technology and the way to deal with it.
Anusha Gallage, Damith Pallewatte, Arjuna Abeygunasekere, Rajive Dissanayake, Ruwan Manatunga, Dilshan Rodrigo, Dinesh Weerakkody, Anuradhi Delage, Kushan Jayasuriya, Janath Illangangantileke, Shermi Fernando, and Sameera Bandara joined in the discussion. Swientozielskyj is an author of ‘Business Partnering – A Practical Handbook’ (Routledge), and has worked as a consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers, and held a position as a UK National Health Service (NHS) Non-Executive Director. He also frequently lectures and speaks at conferences internationally.
