Bitulink Emulsion Ltd., the leading bulk supplier of bitumen in Sri Lanka, reaffirmed its significance at CNCI Achiever Awards 2020 with receiving two coveted awards. Contesting under the Manufacturing sector, Extra-Large category, the company won the National Merit Award and Provincial Silver Award respectively.
The flagship event organised by Ceylon National Chamber of Industries was recently held at Hotel Galadari, Colombo with Minister of Industries Wimal Weerawansa as the Chief Guest.
Commenting on the achievement, Bitulink Emulsion Chairman/Managing Director Mahesh Wijeratne stated: “This is a remarkable milestone in our history. This proud moment would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of our indefatigable team. The management team’s hard work especially contributed to this achievement. The company has a massive production capacity of decanted bitumen and bitumen emulsion a day having acquired latest high-tech production equipment from UK and technical know-how from USA, UK, Sweden and Spain.
Bitulink Emulsion’s main factory located at Epaladeniya, Giriulla is an ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certified facility, with a storage capacity exceeding the requirement. The company’s transport service manned by fully trained drivers and equipped with all required specialised vehicles from browsers to bitumen sprayers.
