Bank of Ceylon has come on aboard as the Gold Sponsor of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) 40th National Conference of Sri Lanka. This is said to be the country’s biggest business summit that is expected to receive around 2,000 plus participants representing business leaders and c-suite executives of Sri Lanka.
The Bank offered its sponsorship at a ceremony held recently at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. Bank of Ceylon Chief Financial Officer/Senior Deputy General Manager Corporate and Offshore Banking Russel Fonseka handed the ‘dummy cheque’ to CA Sri Lanka President Jagath Perera. The Bank’s Acting DGM Finance and Planning, AGM Budget, Strategic Planning and MIS MP Ruwan Kumara, and AGM Marketing Saman Wickramasinghe represented the Bank of Ceylon, whereas CA Sri Lanka CEO Dulani Perera and National Conference Committee Chairman Dulitha Perera represented the institute at this occasion.
Bank of Ceylon, in appreciation of commitment demonstrated by the CA Sri Lanka as the premier national accounting body of Sri Lanka towards enhancing the professional skills, provoking thinking and insights on broad economic and business issues, has generously associated itself with the professional body on several occasions. This year too, it is believed this conference will give in-depth insights and assist businesses and professionals.
