All-time record price for Rothschild Tea Factory

Rothschild Tea Factory, situated in Pussellawa achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 1,800 per kg for a PF1 in the CTC Medium Grown Category at the weekly tea auction conducted on 26 July.

Rothschild Tea Factory is managed by Pussellawa Plantations Ltd. This invoice of tea was purchased by M/S Eswaran Brothers Exports Ltd. and was marketed and sold by tea broker John Keells.
