Morawakkorale Tea Factory situated in Kotapola, Matara District established an all-time record price for a BOP1A Grade which sold at Rs. 735 at this week’s tea auction held on 2 October. The purchase was made by May Company Ceylon Ltd. and the sale was conducted by tea broker John Keells PLC.
Morawakkorale is managed by Morawakkorale Tea Producers Co-operative Society Ltd., Kotapola.
