The Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka (AAT Sri Lanka) won the Silver award under the ‘Small and Medium Sized Entities’ category at the 55th Annual Report Awards 2019, conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka at a ceremony held at Shangri-La Colombo.
The Chief Guests at the function were Parliamentarian Anura Priyadharshana Yapa and Central Bank Governor Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy.
The prestigious award was another significant achievement by AAT Sri Lanka and amply demonstrated its commitment not only in the field of education but also for proper financial reporting, good governance, social responsibility, ethical business practices, etc. The award was received by CEO Tishanga Kumarasinghe and the finance team.
AAT Sri Lanka is the pioneer institute which provides a professional qualification for A/L students. There were over 332,000 students registered with AAT Sri Lanka for the past three decades. Currently AAT Sri Lanka become as the leading qualification which can be applied soon after G.C.E. O/L examination.
